Using Filters

Prerequisites

  • Access to a Project in the Web app, iPad app, or smartphone app

  • At least read permissions for Pins, Tasks, or Media

Step-by-Step Guide

Web app

Filters are available in the following views in the Web app:

  • Pin list

  • Plan list

  • Split view

  • To-do list

  • Media view

  • Create Report

  1. Open one of the views mentioned above.

  2. In list views, the Filter opens automatically. In the Plan or Split view, Click on Filter to open it.

  3. Select the desired Category (e.g., Pins, Tasks, Datasets, Plan, Pin fields) and define your Filter rules.

  4. For each Rule, select a condition such as is, is not, all, none.

  5. Optional: Specify whether all, at least one, or none of the rules must apply (Default: all).

Examples:

  • Category – is – Defect shows all Pins with the Category "Defect".

  • Category – all – Defect & Inspection shows all Pins that have either "Defect" or "Inspection" as a Category.

Smartphone App (iOS & Android)

Filters are exclusively available in the Plan view:

  1. Open a Plan.

  2. Tap on the filter icon at the top right.

  3. Choose from the following Filter options:

    • Hide all Pins

    • Change sorting (by Title, Status, Category, Number)

    • Pin Status (open, closed, inactive)

    • Pin Category

    • Task status (including inactive, note: not available offline)

    • Assigned to (me or specific people)

    • Due date (e.g., overdue or custom time window)

  4. Tap on Show Pins at the bottom to Sctivate the Filter. The number of matching Pins will be displayed.

  5. To reset the Filter:

    • Tap again on the filter icon.

    • Tap on Reset at the top right, then at the bottom on Apply.

iPad App

Filters are available in the following views:

  • Plan view

  • Pin list view

  • Split view

  • To-do list view

  1. Tap on the filter icon at the top right.

  2. Filter by the following criteria:

Plan, Pin list, and Split view:

  • Pin Status

  • Category

  • Creation date

  • Involved users

  • Task status

  • Task assigned

  • Due date

To-do list view:

  • Task status

  • Assigned

  • Due date

  • Plan

  • Task creator

  • Task creation date

  1. Tap on Show Pins to Sctivate the Filter.

  2. To reset: filter icon → Reset → Apply

Additional Notes

  • Inactive Pins and Tasks are not available offline on mobile devices. For complete results, use the Web app.

  • All manually created Pin fields are also filterable – exclusively in the Pin list of the Web app.
