Using Filters

Requirement

– Access to a project in the web app, iPad app, or smartphone app
– At least read permission on Pins, Tasks, or Media

Step-by-step instructions

Web App

Filters are available in the following views:
Pin List
Plan List
Split View
Task List
Media View
Create Report

  1. Open one of the views above.

  2. In list views, filters open automatically. In Plan or Split View, click on Filter to open.

  3. Choose a category (e.g. Pins, Tasks, Datasets, Plan, Pin Fields) and define filter rules.

  4. For each rule, choose a condition such as is, is not, all, none.

  5. Optional: Define whether results must match all, any, or none of the rules (default: all).

Examples:
Category – is – Deficiency shows all Pins with the "Deficiency" category.
Category – all – Deficiency & Inspection shows all Pins that belong to either the "Deficiency" or "Inspection" category (not both – each Pin can only have one category).

Smartphone App (iOS & Android)

Filters are only available in the Plan View:

  1. Open a plan.

  2. Tap the filter icon in the top right.

  3. Choose from the following options: – Hide all PinsChange Sorting (by title, status, category, number) – Pin Status (open, closed, inactive) – Pin CategoryTask Status (incl. inactive – note: not available offline) – Assigned to (me or specific users) – Due Date (e.g. overdue or custom date range)

  4. Tap Show Pins at the bottom to activate the filter. The number of matching Pins will be displayed.

  5. To reset the filter: – Tap the filter icon again. – Tap Reset in the top right, then tap Apply.

iPad App

Filters are available in the following views:
Plan View
Pin List View
Split View
Task List View

  1. Tap the filter icon in the top right.

  2. Use the following filter options:

Plan, Pin List and Split View:
– Pin Status
– Category
– Created Date
– Involved Users
– Task Status
– Task Assignee
– Due Date

Task List View:
– Task Status
– Assignee
– Due Date
– Plan
– Task Creator
– Task Created Date

  1. Tap Show Pins to activate the filter.

  2. To reset: Filter icon → ResetApply

Additional Notes

– Inactive Pins and Tasks are not available offline on mobile devices. For full results, use the web app.
– All manually created Pin Fields can also be used as filter criteria – only in the Pin List view of the web app.
