Rejecting Tasks on Mobile Devices

Updated this week

In some situations, a user may mistakenly be Assigned a Task that is not intended for them. To quickly communicate this to the Task Creator, we have added the "Reject" function. Once a Task has been rejected, the client receives a notification and can make the necessary adjustments.

Rejecting Tasks in iPad and Smartphone Apps

We recommend adding a comment with relevant information about the reason for rejecting the Task as a comment BEFORE you Press Reject. Once you have Pressed the button, you can no longer change this. The Reject button appears next to the Mark as completed button for all Tasks Assigned to your user.

NOTE: Once a Task has been rejected, only the Creator of the Task can reopen or close it, or re-Assign it to you. So, it's better to double-check before you reject a Task.
