Create Task

Prerequisite

You need the Role of Project admin, Contributor, or External viewer to create Tasks in a Project.

Instructions

  1. Open the Pin where you want to create a Task.

  2. Click on + Add New Task.

  3. The Task window will open.

Create New Task

  1. The Title of the Pin is automatically used as the Task Description to prevent saving empty Tasks. Add to the Description as needed. You can also Edit this later.

  2. In the second dropdown Field, you can Assign the Task to another Project member or Contact. If you do not change anything here, the Task remains Assigned to you.

  3. Select a Due date in the calendar. Below the calendar, you can optionally also set a time. By default, 12:00 PM is preset.

  4. As soon as a Due date is set, additional options for a Reminder and a Repeat of the Task appear.

Before saving the Task, you can add additional information: – Notices and comments can be entered in the text Field below. – Photos can be added via the Camera icon.

  1. Complete the Task creation by Clicking on Done.

  2. The Task now appears in the Pin view under Tasks. The + Add New Task Function button is now located below the To-do list.

Add More Information to the Task

  1. Open the Task view via the arrow > next to the respective Task. Here you can Edit or add information: – Click on the desired Field to Edit it directly. – Notices and comments can be entered in the text Field below. – Photos can be added via the Camera icon. – Use the Close Function button to mark Tasks as completed. – Through the menu ... -> Open Task, you can reopen already closed Tasks.
