How to save Contacts in docu tools?

Create a Template Project

  1. Start by setting up a Template Project in docu tools. This Project will serve as the basis for storing your Contacts.

  • To learn how to create a new Project, please read our article.

  1. Navigate within the Template Project to the Members section and then to the Contacts tab.

  2. Import Contacts via CSV: On the Contacts tab, you can Import Contacts via a CSV File to populate your Contact List and create a comprehensive database for your Projects.

  • Select the ... menu at the top right of the List.

  • Import a CSV File with your Contacts.

A CSV Template File is available for download at the end of this article.

Update Contact List: When a new Contact is added, immediately add them to the Template Project.

Create a New Project Using the Template

  1. When creating a new Project, first Copy the Template Project you created. Detailed instructions can be found in our article about Copying a Project.

  2. In the Copy window, select the checkbox for Team members and then the Function button All.

Select Contacts to Copy

  • Here you will find a List with all Contacts that were Imported into the Template Project. You can easily browse all Contacts and only select those you need for the respective Project. Thanks to this streamlined process, you can tailor your Contact List to the requirements of the respective Project.

This procedure creates a central storage system for your Contacts in docu tools.
