Creating a New docu tools Account

To use docu tools, you need a personal Account. This can be created in three different ways:

  • Registration via the website

  • Registration when Invited to an existing Organization

  • Registration when Invited to a Project

The differences and steps are explained below.

Registration via the Website

This method is suitable whether you want to test docu tools for free without obligation or if you want to start with a paid subscription immediately.

  1. Open the website www.docu-tools.com.

  2. Click the Try for free Function button.

  3. You will be redirected to the registration form: https://app.docu-tools.com/register.

  4. Fill out all fields completely (Name, E-mail address, Password, Company, etc.).

  5. You will receive an email with a confirmation code. Enter this code to verify your E-mail address.

After successful registration, your Account will be created. Simultaneously, a new docu tools Organization will be established for you – based on the Company name you provided. An Organization is the overarching workspace where all Projects, users, and licenses are managed.

Registration when Invited to an Existing Organization

If a colleague Invites you to become part of an existing Organization, you will receive a corresponding email. This person is already a Member of the Organization you are being Invited to join.

  1. Open the email and Click on Join Organization.

  2. You will be automatically redirected to the registration form.

  3. Your E-mail address and the Organization are already pre-filled.

  4. Add your personal information (First name, Last name, Phone number, Password).

  5. Confirm your E-mail address using the verification code sent to you.

With this registration, your Account is created, and you are directly a Member of the Organization you were Invited to.

Registration when Invited to a Project

Project administrators can Invite new Members directly to a Project – even if they do not yet have a docu tools Account. This allows for quick integration into an ongoing Project and collaboration.

  • If you already have a docu tools Account:
    You can work on the Project without delay. No further registration is required.

  • If you do not have an Account yet:

    1. Click on Join now in the invitation email.

    2. You will be redirected to the registration form.

    3. Your E-mail address is already pre-filled, as the invitation is personally addressed to you.

    4. Enter your data (Company, First name, Last name, Phone number, Password).

    5. Confirm your E-mail address using the verification code sent to you.

Successful registration creates your Account and establishes your own docu tools Organization based on the provided Company name. The Project you were Invited to will automatically appear in your Projects list once you Log in.

What Information Do I Need for Registration?

No credit card details are required for registration.
The registration form requires the following information:

  • First name and Last name

  • Company name

  • Business E-mail address

  • Phone number (including country code)

  • Password

The Password must comply with the docu tools password guidelines. It must be at least eight characters long and meet the following criteria:

  • at least one uppercase letter

  • at least one lowercase letter

  • at least one digit

  • at least one special character

Help with Missing Emails

If you have not received a confirmation or invitation email, please check the Spam folder of your mailbox first. If the email is not there either, it may have been blocked by your Company's firewall.

In this case, please contact our support team via the chat on our website at www.docu-tools.com. The chat will automatically appear in the bottom right corner after a short time, and you can directly interact with our support team.
