What is a digital plan?

Updated over a week ago

Requirement

– Valid docu tools subscription
– Plan count depends on subscription type (pocket, combo, multi, Enterprise) – User must be assigned to a project

A digital plan in docu tools is the file on which pins are placed. This can be a construction plan in PDF format, but also a calendar page or another type of visual file – e.g. for daily data documentation.

Step-by-step explanation

What does “per user” mean?

The plan quota is calculated per user. For example, if your organization has the combo tool for 3 users, you get 135 plans in total. It does not matter which user uses how many plans – what matters is the total amount used by the whole organization.

What does “active” mean?

An active plan counts towards your total quota. You can deactivate plans at any time to free up space. You can even deactivate entire projects. Good to know: deactivated plans can always be reactivated later.

Does a revision plan count as active?

No. If a plan is revised, the older version is automatically deactivated and therefore does not count against your quota.

If I invite a paid user to my project, do plans count for them?

No. Plans only count for the organization that owns the project. A user invited to a project from another organization does not consume any plans on their own account.

What if I need more than 150 plans?

If you use the multi tool and need more than the included number of plans, you do not need to upgrade to the Enterprise tool. Instead, we offer additional plan packages to provide maximum flexibility.
