Manually Editing a Dataset

It is possible to directly add or Remove Columns in a Dataset within our application.

  • Select Edit from the ... menu.

In the editing view, you can: - change the Column Titles - select different Columns as ID and Title - add new Columns and Rows - edit or delete existing Rows.

Make sure to Click Save after every change.

Remove Dataset

To avoid the loss of important data and inconsistencies in filtering, it is not possible to completely Remove an existing Dataset from the app.

If you no longer wish to use the Dataset, you can set it to "inactive" by Clicking Deactivate in the ... menu.

Export Dataset

You can Export current and old datasets from docu tools.

  • Click Export in the ... menu.

  • You can choose the layout - Current (with manually edited Rows and Columns) or Imported (original File)

  • and the File format - CSV or Excel.

  • Click Export to download the Dataset File.

Overwriting a Dataset

To avoid the loss of important data and inconsistencies in filtering, it is not possible to overwrite an existing Dataset.

If you need to Import a new Version of the same List:

  • Set the current Dataset to "inactive" via the ... menu in the List of datasets.

  • Import the new File.

  • The inactive Dataset will still be visible in the filter options, allowing you to continue finding pins with the old values.
