Export Data

Updated over 3 weeks ago

You may want to secure all data at the end of the Project to archive it on your own computer, an external hard drive, etc. Or you have canceled your docu tools subscription and want to save your data in a readable format.

Requirements

  • You are the Project admin.

  • The Project is active.

3 Ways to Export Data

All 3 methods start by opening the Project.

1. Export Plans

  • Under Plans, Download the Plans individually by Clicking on the ... at the end of the line and selecting Export Plan.

  • Leave the box checked for Include Pins as it is and confirm with Export.

  • Wait until the Export is fully generated and then Press Download. You will receive the Plan as a PDF.

Plans can only be exported individually.

Export with filtered Pins

If you have opened a Plan, you can also set Filters for Pins before exporting. This allows you to display only certain trades, responsible parties, or statuses on the Plan.

Once the desired Pins are visible through the Filter, Click on the ... in the opened Plan at the top right and choose Export Plan.

The exported PDF Plan will then only contain the previously filtered Pins

2. Export Media

  • Under Media, Click on the ... icon on the right and select Download All Media.

  • This generates a Zip file, in which all Media are saved grouped by date. You can also specifically select Media and Download only those chosen. The data is prepared for Export.

  • Then confirm again with Download.

3. Export Pins

You can Export the Pins in a Report.

  • Under Reports, choose New Report.

  • Assign a meaningful Title for your Project.

  • Select In-depth report as the Report template. "Large" or "small" refers to the image size. Please choose what better suits your needs (if you have created your own Report template, you can of course use that as well).

  • Scroll further down and select the parameters.

  • Under Content based on:, keep Pins selected and Click on Choose. Select the Pins that should be included in the Report. We recommend packing a maximum of 300 Pins into a Report, otherwise, it may take a very long time to create.

  • Click on Create. The Report will be created, which can take longer depending on the content of the data.

  • Click on Download when the Report is ready. Here you can choose whether you want to receive the Report as a PDF or as a Word document.
