Construction plans can be uploaded to docu tools in PDF, JPG, and PNG formats. There is no size limit for uploads. However, please note that depending on your internet connection, uploading large Files may take longer.

During the upload, you can also change the orientation of your plan. The orientation cannot be changed after the upload.

You can view and Download all Media contained in a Project through the Media view in the Project on the Web app. In the Web app, you can also Deactivate Media if necessary. Not all options are available on all platforms.

In docu tools, you can create photos, videos, and Audio notes. The first time you use it on a smartphone and tablet, you must grant docu tools access to your camera or microphone. The storage size of the photos is determined in your User settings.

You can also upload photos, videos, and Audios from your computer or tablet if you have used a digital camera or received the photo.

Photos can be directly incorporated into your Report, but video and Audio content, understandably, cannot. However, the Report will indicate that these Media exist in a Pin. If you frequently work with videos and Audios in docu tools, it is advisable to include a direct link to the Pin in the Report using the placeholder {​{pin-link}​}. This allows anyone with the appropriate Project permissions to open the Pin by clicking on the link and access the included videos and Audios.

In the Web app and on the iPad, you can also attach Files to a Pin. This is often used for product data sheets. These also appear in the Media view.

Additionally, you can create sketches in the Pin on the Web app and iPad. These are attached as a photo in the Pin. Sketches cannot be edited afterwards.

In the Web app, you can Deactivate Media if necessary.
