To use this feature, you need the Google Authenticator app on your smartphone. Additionally, you must have entered your mobile number with the country code in the User settings under "Personal Settings", e.g., +43664123456789

Check the box for <code>Sctivate Two-step authentication</code> and Click on <code>Save</code>. A new window will open.

You will receive an activation code via SMS to the mobile number provided above. Enter this code in the Field below the text and Click on <code>Confirm SMS Code</code>. After this confirmation, a QR code will appear.

Open the Google Authenticator app on your smartphone and scan the QR code. Your docu tools Account will now appear in the List in Google Authenticator.

When you Log in to docu tools again, the login screen will always ask for the 6-digit numeric code displayed in the List in Google Authenticator in the second step.

1. Go to the User settings in docu tools.
2. Check the box for <code>Sctivate Two-step authentication</code> and Click on <code>Save</code>. A new window will open.
3. You will receive an activation code via SMS to the mobile number provided above. Enter this code in the Field below the text and Click on <code>Confirm SMS Code</code>. After this confirmation, a QR code will appear.
4. Open the Google Authenticator app on your smartphone and scan the QR code. Your docu tools Account will now appear in the List in Google Authenticator.
5. When you Log in to docu tools again, the login screen will always ask for the 6-digit numeric code displayed in the List in Google Authenticator in the second step.

To deactivate Two-step authentication, uncheck the box and Click on <code>Save</code>.
