Media Filters for Reports

Updated yesterday

Photo documentation is a crucial aspect of ongoing projects, and our platform offers an optimized solution for capturing progress through photos. Users often use a single Pin on the Plan specifically designated for photo documentation. This Pin becomes a repository for daily or weekly progress photos, creating a visual timeline of project development. However, managing this extensive collection of images for report creation can be challenging, especially when you want to include only the latest additions.

To meet this need, our platform includes Media Filters in the report creation process. These Filters allow Users to selectively include photos in their reports, focusing on newly added or current images rather than the entire content of the designated Pins.

Media Filter Options

To use Media Filters, Users must first select a report Template and Pins or tasks. Once a Template is selected, the option to apply Filters becomes available in the "Media" section of the report creation interface.

The Filter is set to All by default, but we also offer additional, finer Filter options.

  • Since: Includes images created in a period from the selected date to the time of report creation.

  • From this week/month/year: Filters Media based on a specific timeframe, providing options to focus on recently added images.

  • Between: Selects Media added in the period between the chosen start and end date.

To gain a comprehensive understanding of these features, you can also attend the part of our live webinar that deals with reports and Media Filters. The webinar includes practical demonstrations and explanations and provides a visual guide for the effective use of these tools. Access the webinar at this link and enhance your knowledge in using Media Filters for creating impactful reports.

Sorting Options for Media

In addition to Media Filters, our platform offers sorting options for image tables, providing you flexibility in organizing your visual data. You can choose between two sorting methods:

  • Ascending: Arranges the photos from the oldest to the newest.

  • Descending: Arranges the photos from the newest to the oldest.

Adding Timestamps to Images

You can customize which information is displayed under the photos by using placeholders in the Templates. For more details on this customization feature, see this article. Additionally, you can have the creation date and time printed directly on the photos by activating the appropriate checkbox during report creation. This feature provides a visual representation of the timestamps directly on the images.

Our Media Filters and associated features have been developed to provide Users with precision and efficiency in managing visual data for reports. With customizable sorting and timestamp options, our platform ensures that your reports not only show progress but also effectively convey the chronological context.
