I cannot see a project

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Prerequisites

– You have an active docu tools user account
– You have a valid license

General reasons

  1. You have not been added to the project
Only project members can see a project. Contact a project manager to be added.

  2. You created the project but did not add yourself as a member
If you created the project but cannot see it in the mobile app, your own role might be missing.
    See: Creating a new project

  3. The project has been deactivated
Deactivated projects are not visible in either the web version or the mobile app. Please ask your project manager.

  4. Your license has expired
Without a valid license, projects cannot be loaded or displayed.

Project visibility in the web version

  1. Check filter settings
Enable the All option to make archived projects visible.

Project visibility in the mobile app

  1. No internet access
You cannot load new projects without an internet connection.

  2. Project not downloaded
You can only work offline on projects you downloaded beforehand.
See: Offline sync on mobile devices

  3. Outdated data
Pull down in the project list to trigger a manual sync.

The project appears empty (web and mobile app)

If you were invited as a subcontractor, you will only see plans that contain tasks assigned to you. If you see no plans, no tasks have been assigned to you yet.

– Without active tasks, the project appears empty.
– Once tasks you marked as Completed are set to Closed by the person who created them, they will also disappear from your view.
