I cannot see a Project

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Prerequisites

– You have an active user account at docu tools
– You have a valid License

Common Causes

  1. You were not invited to the Project
Only Project Members can see a Project. Contact a Project manager to be added.

  2. You did not add yourself as a Member (during Project creation)
If you created a Project but cannot see it on your mobile device, you might be missing your own Role in the Project. Read: Create new Project

  3. The Project was deactivated
Deactivated Projects are not visible in either the web version or the app. Check with your Project manager.

  4. Your License has expired
Without a valid License, no Projects can be loaded or displayed.

Project Visibility in the Web Version

  1. Check filter settings
Sctivate the All option if necessary to make archived Projects visible.

Project Visibility in the Mobile App

  1. No Internet access
New Projects cannot be loaded without an Internet connection.

  2. Project not loaded
You can only Edit Projects offline if you have previously downloaded them. Read: Offline sync on mobile devices

  3. Outdated data
Drag down in the Projects list to perform a manual synchronization.

The Project appears empty (Web and mobile App)

If you were invited to the Project as a Subcontractor, you will only see plans that have tasks assigned to you. If you see no plans, no tasks have been assigned to you yet.

– Without active tasks, the Project appears empty.
– Once tasks marked by you as Done are set to closed by the client, they will also disappear from your view.
