Find out what has to be considered when the role of a user changes or he is leaving the project members, while the project download is still on his mobile device and data has not yet been uploaded into the Cloud.

If all data is synced, the sync process is running as usual. If not, here's what may happen:

Change role of user with unsynced data on tablet

There is a warning if you want to change a user’s role in the docu tools Web App. You are asked to check if the user in question has synced all data. If this is not the case, contact the user and ask him to sync.

When a user receives a role lower than before, it may occur that the user no longer possesses the necessary rights to upload data to the server. This results in an "Error" when trying to sync the data.

Sync by the user is possible if he is temporarily given either his old role or Admin rights. If sync is successfully completed, assign the new role again.

After a final data sync the user data is in order with the new role.

Remove user from project members with unsynced data on tablet

There is a warning if you want to remove a user from the project members in the docu tools Web App. You are asked to check if the user in question has synced all data. If this is not the case, contact the user and ask him to sync.

If a user is being removed from the project members, it may occur that the user has unsynced data on his tablet, but no longer possesses the necessary rights to upload data to the server. This results in an "Error" when trying to sync the data.

Sync by the user is possible if he is temporarily invited back on the project members. If sync is successfully completed, you can permanently remove the user from the members.

After a final data sync the project is automatically being removed from the user's device.

Deactivate project with unsynced data on tablet

There is a warning if you want to deactivate a project in the docu tools Web App. You are asked to check if all users in question have synced all data. If this is not the case, contact the users and ask them to sync.

If a project is deactivated, it may occur that the users have unsynced data on the tablet, but no longer possess the necessary rights to upload data to the server. This results in an "Error" when trying to sync the data.

Sync by the users is possible if the project is temporarily activated again. If sync is successfully completed, you can permanently deactivate the project.

After a final data sync the project is automatically being removed from the users' devices.

User is removed from a team if data on the tablet has not yet been synchronized.

If you remove a user from a team in the Web App of docu tools, you will receive a warning. You will be prompted to verify that the user has synchronized all their data. If this is not the case, contact the user to have them perform the synchronization.

If a user is removed from a team, the problem can occur that the user has not yet synchronized data on the tablet, which he can no longer upload. This is followed by an "Error" when trying to synchronize the data.

To allow users to synchronize, invite the user back into the team. After the user has synchronized the data, you can permanently remove the user from the team.

After another synchronization of the data, the user data is adapted to the change.
