Pin Templates

Overview

The pin template is used to document recurring defects or other events more quickly. For example, if you have created a pin for a defect during painting work, you can save this pin as a template and use this template for the next defect.

Create Pin Template

First of all create a pin and add all desired information to this pin. When you are finished, click on the menu in the upper left corner of the pin detail view.

Click on Save as Template.

Select one of the three templates under which you want to save the pin.

If you now create a new pin you can select the template in the menu and the pin will automatically be filled with the saved data.

Which data is stored or transferred in the template:

• Pin Title
• Pin Category
• Pin Status
• All tasks
• Datasets
• Keywords
• Pin Rating 1 & 2

Info: No media is copied. Photos, notes, etc. must be recreated in the pin.

How long is a template stored?

Pin templates are always stored on the respective device for the duration of use. As soon as you log in to the app again, the templates are deleted.

Info: The templates are bound to the device and are not synchronized to other devices.

Can templates be overwritten?

Yes, simply select an existing template when saving a template and it will be overwritten.

Are the Pin Templates project overlapping?

No, pin templates are only valid for one project on your app.
