Create a Template Project

  1. Begin by setting up a template project within docu tools. This project will serve as the foundation for storing your contacts.
  • To learn how to create a new project, please refer to our article.
  1. Within the template project, navigate to the Members section, then the Contacts tab.
  2. Import contacts via CSV: Under the Contacts tab, you can import contacts by using a CSV file to populate your contact list, providing a comprehensive database for your projects.
  • Select the ... menu on the top right of the list.
  • Import a CSV file with your contacts.

Update Contact List: Whenever a new contact arises, ensure to add them to the template project promptly.

Creating a New Project using the template

  1. When creating a new project, start by copying the template project you've created. Uou can refer to our dedicated article on how to copy a project for detailed instructions.
  2. In the copy window select the checlbox for Team members and then the button All .

Select contacts to copy

  • Here, you'll find a list of all contacts imported into the template project. You can easily search among all contacts and select only the ones you need for the specific project. This streamlined process allows you to tailor your contact list to each project's requirements.

By following this process, you establish a centralized storage system for your contacts within Docu Tools.
