When a project is deactivated, the project is deactivated by a user with project management rights for all project members. This means that this project can no longer be accessed and it no longer appears in the list of active projects. No more changes can be made. This may result in error messages during data sync if project members have not yet saved synchronized content on a mobile device. Therefore, always ensure that all project participants have synchronized all mobile data before deactivating a project.

When leaving a project, a participant leaves an active project via the menu item Leave project. It then disappears from the "My projects" list and can no longer be accessed. However, other project members are not affected by this and the project remains active.
