Bulk editing allows you to change certain settings at once for multiple pins or tasks. For example, you can quickly transfer tasks from one person to another or create the same task in multiple pins.

You can also create the same task in multiple pins.

This editing option is only available in the web app.

Edit multiple pins

Only open pins can be edited.

  1. Open the pin list in your project by clicking on Pins in the left menu.
  2. Select the pins you want to edit. To do this, click in the box in the last column. The selected pins will now have a white check mark on a black background here.
  3. Click on the pencil icon to open the edit menu.
  4. Select Edit.
  5. Make the desired changes.
  6. save the changes with Confirm or discard the changes with Cancel.

Available change options

You can make the following changes via mass editing: - Title: overwrites all existing titles - Status: changes the status (open, closed, inactive) - Category: assign new category - Remove Dataset Link: remove linked datasets for all selected pins - Add dataset link: link another, already available, dataset from the menu under dataset or assign new values from an existing dataset under dataset link - Edit keywords: Delete or add keywords for all selected pins. If the keyword is highlighted in dark gray, it is stored for all selected pins. If the keyword has a light gray background with a dark border, it is only added to one or some of the selected pins. If you click on a light gray keyword, it will turn dark gray and will be attributed to all other selected pins. If you want to add a new keyword, click in the field Add keyword and type the new word. Pressing the Enter key will create the keyword. You can add several keywords.

Do not forget to accept all changes with Confirm.

Adding a task to multiple pins via the pin list

  1. Open the pin list in your project by clicking on Pins in the left menu.
  2. Select the pins you want to edit. To do this, click in the box in the last column. The selected pins will now have a white check mark on a black background.
  3. Click on the pencil icon to open the edit menu.
  4. Select Add task.
  5. Create the task with all the necessary details.
  6. Under Selected pins you can adjust the pin selection again if necessary.
  7. Confirm with Create tasks.

Edit multiple tasks

Only open tasks can be edited.

  1. Open the task list in your project by clicking on Tasks in the left menu.
  2. Select the tasks you want to edit. To do this, click in the box in the last column. The selected tasks will have a white check mark on a black background.
  3. Click on the pencil icon to open the edit menu.
  4. Select Edit.
  5. Make the desired changes.
  6. save the changes with Confirm or discard the changes with Cancel.

Available change options

You can make the following changes via mass editing: - Title: overwrites all existing titles - Status: changes the status (open, closed, inactive) - Assigned to: assigns all selected tasks to a new owner - Due date: adjust due date for all tasks - Repeat: Set repetitions for all tasks

Adding a task to multiple pins via the task list

  1. Open the task list in your project by clicking on Tasks in the left menu.
  2. Click the New tasks button.
  3. Create the task with all the necessary details.
  4. Select the pins in which you want to create this task under Selected pins. To do this, click on the corresponding button. In the list, select the pins to be edited by clicking in the box in the last column. The selected pins will now have a white check mark on a black background here. Confirm with Add selected pins. If you want to create the task for all pins in the list, click on the button Add all pins without activating a pin beforehand.
  5. Confirm with Create task.
